WWE star Eve Torres described former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as "a lovely woman" after they met along with Todd Palin when Stars Earn Stripes was being filmed, Mark Malkin, E Online
reported September 4. "We didn't talk politics, but she was excited for
me when I won. She was proud that I did it for the girls out there. She
was really sweet....At the end of the day, she's a mom and a nice
woman," Torres said. The 28-year-old wrestler had dinner with the
Palins.
Torres praised Todd Palin's performance in the series,
saying, "I was so impressed with Todd Palin," Torres said. "He performed
really well. They have a son in the military so I think a lot of it for
him was to say, 'I'm doing this for you and all the other troops.'"
Torres said the series does not glorify war and violence, but does glorify our men and women in uniform and their work.
