Gov. Palin to Keynote, Panel NOLA Investment Conference

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will deliver a "rousing closing address," and participate in "a Summit on America's Future panel with Charles Krauthammer and Rick Santelli," October 24 - 27, Brien F. Lundin, President and CEO, New Orleans Investment Conference reported yesterday. "In the process, she will reveal the dire stakes in this year's national election, and what you can do to prepare regardless of the outcome," Lundin wrote.

In introducing her, Lundin described Gov. Palin as "America's Most Inspiring Conservative," and said, "from small-town mayor to governor of Alaska to vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin's remarkable story of achievement has inspired millions of Americans. Her unswerving support of personal liberty and family values has earned her a loyal following and made her one of the most influential figures on the political scene."

Registration fees range from $350 to $539. The $539 Gold Club fee includes an individual photo with Gov. Palin (Ed. Note: if you can afford $350, you can afford $539. Pay the extra $189 - Go for the Gold - and go for the photo with Gov. Palin! Best $189 you could ever spend!).

Gov. Palin's closing speech is scheduled for October 27 at 1920 / 7:20 PM CST with a one-hour block, followed by a special reception at which Gov. Palin may or may not be present. A Gold Club Members Only Special event is listed for 1800 / 6 PM CST on October 27 and immediately precedes her speech. This is most likely the meet and greet photo session for Gold Club attendees. The Summit Panel time and date are not specified and could be during any of the three days.

Hoekstra on Sarah Palin Radio: Palin awesome in '08, Welcome in MI Anytime

Former U.S. Representative Peter Hoekstra told LaDonna Hale Curzon, host and Executive Producer, Sarah Palin Radio he is running for a U.S. Senate seat in Michigan because what Obama and his opponent, Sen. Debbie Stabenow are doing "is terrible for our kids and grand kids." His motivation is "to get this country moving in a different direction. Stabenow is a 12-year Democratic incumbent. Rep. Hoekstra said the differences between Stabenow and himself are a "classic liberal/conservative race."

Stabenow "is a Senator who does not deliver solutions. I find it amazing that they're going after Paul Ryan and his legislative accomplishments. Here's a guy who's Chairman of the Budget Committee and passes a budget every year. I'm running against a Senator who sits on the Budget Committee in the US Senate and hasn't passed a budget in over 1,200 days," he said.

He said Sen. Stabenow voted for the Obama stimulus plan and her beliefs align with his infamous "you didn't build this" rant. She voted for ObamaCare and is one of the most liberal Senators, if not the most, Rep. Hoekstra said.

Closing Gap in Polling...Opponent Needs Her Money "to Defend Atrocious Record"

Though Sen. Stabinow has much more money in her campaign than Rep. Hoekstra, he said "she is going to need it to defend her atrocious record." The latest Rasmussen Poll on their campaigns shows Sen. Stabinow at 46% with Rep. Hoekstra at 40%. He expects the gap to close by Labor Day and said pundits consider an incumbent vulnerable once their numbers drop below 50%.

Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan has endorsed Rep. Hoekstra. He expects to pick up endorsements from pro-business, pro-life, and pro-gun groups in the coming weeks. His campaign got between 40% and 45% of the Tea Party vote during the primary, but now they are united behind his general election run. Rep. Hoekstra said he would welcome Gov. Palin's support but has not been endorsed by her as this story goes to press. He is not on the American Grizzlies United 2012 Candidates List.

Rep. Hoekstra said he was thrilled that Romney picked Paul Ryan to be his running mate. "Paul Ryan is a very good friend. He's shown incredible leadership," Rep. Hoekstra said. Rep. Ryan also sits on the Ways and Means Committee which develops all of our tax policies. "He's not only leading on balancing the budget and paying down the debt, but he's also leading on tax policy, creating a tax structure that would drive the economy and...growth," Rep. Hoekstra said. He added that Rep. Ryan is a "gym rat," who slept in the office and met colleagues in the gym. He believes that Rep. Ryan's solutions focus will appeal to Independents as well as conservatives, and even Democrats who seek solutions. Michigan's Upper Peninsula is a Reagan Democrat stronghold where the Romney-Ryan ticket could do well.

Gov. Palin Awesome in '08

Curzon noted that despite Gov. Palin's best efforts in 2008 - she had "gone rogue" to campaign there - Obama still carried the state. "Gov. Palin was awesome in '08 when the top of the ticket said 'hey we're leaving Michigan,' and she said, 'No! No! No! Send me to Michigan. I can win Michigan. She's welcome to come to Michigan anytime she wants to come. People in Michigan remember that," Rep. Hoekstra said.

He also said "Romney is our favorite son. He is from southeast Michigan. He understands the car industry. He understands manufacturing...I think he's got a great shot at winning Michigan. After he wins those electoral votes, he's going to take a friend with him into the U.S. Senate, so Michigan is a very key state in this election.

Rep. Hoekstra is an avid cyclist and has biked across the state in the past, though he has not done so this year. A bicycle is featured in one of his campaign logos.

SarahPAC: OBAMACARE: A Disaster, The Palin Effect Scores Primary Victories

Ed. Note: Also be on the lookout for a postal-mailed fund-raiser under Gov. Palin's signature.

Dear SarahPAC Supporter,

You and I both know that bigger government is never a good answer to the problems we face. In fact, government interference is often the source of those problems. The heavy boot of big government stifles the innovation and imagination of hard working Americans across this great country of ours.

But when it comes to our healthcare and the healthcare of our families, more government is not just a burden—it is a disaster.

Barack Obama promised that Obamacare would make healthcare more affordable. But hard working Americans will be hit with the massive price tag of Obama's signature legislation: Obamacare includes twenty-one tax increases that discourage new hiring by small businesses, inflate healthcare costs, and increase the financial burden on American families who are already struggling.

Barack Obama promised that Obamacare would decrease our national deficit. But even with revenue from one of the biggest tax increases in American history, Obamacare will put us more than $100 billion in the hole.

Barack Obama promised that Obamacare would make healthcare more accessible. But, adding insult to injury, Obamacare reduces healthcare choices for you and your family by forcing you to either purchase Obama-approved insurance that may include expensive and unnecessary services or pay a substantial extra tax to the IRS.

And it gets worse. No longer will you and your doctor be the only people in charge of making your healthcare decisions. Now the unelected, unaccountable Washington bureaucrats of HHS have the power to ration care for those who need it most through the Independent Payment Advisory Board.

Because of Obamacare's massive increases in regulation and government interference, eighty-three percent of doctors surveyed are contemplating retiring within the next five years. Within the next two decades, Americans will face a doctor shortage in the hundreds of thousands.

WE MUST REPEAL OBAMACARE. In 2010, SarahPAC had the opportunity to help elect dozens of strong conservatives to fight for change in Washington, including conservative leaders like Marco Rubio, Allen West, and Renee Elmers. To defeat Harry Reid's band of liberal Democrats and repeal Obamacare, we need to send reinforcements to Washington.

Already this election cycle SarahPAC has contributed to the primary victories of underdog conservative leaders like Ted Cruz of Texas and Deb Fischer of Nebraska.

The Palin effect is undeniable and couldn't be possible without your ongoing support!

Your contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250 or more will help SarahPAC turn the tide in Washington and send conservative leaders to repeal the devastating Obamacare legislation!

If you agree that Obamacare needs to be repealed, then help us with your most generous donation to help elect real conservatives today!

Sincerely,

Tim Crawford
