SARAH STEELMAN FOR U.S. SENATE

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin today posted on Facebook:
As we seek to fundamentally restore our great nation to strength and prosperity, we must send more commonsense conservatives to the U.S. Senate. We need sincere public servants who will fight for us, not the special interests and the permanent political class in Washington. Sarah Steelman will fight for all of Missouri and all of us, and that is why we must send her to D.C. this fall. Sarah has run a grassroots campaign the way it should be run – handshake by handshake, voter by voter, farm to farm, not TV ad after TV ad. As a former State Treasurer and State Senator, Sarah has often had to stand up to the political establishment – even those in her own party – to stop out of control spending and the destructive debt it leaves in its wake. As a mother of three, Sarah knows that we must cut our unsustainable debt to preserve our children’s future. She’ll fight hard for Ag families against the crushing regulations that the Obama administration has put on them. Please join me in supporting Sarah Steelman for U.S. Senate. Let’s send a commonsense conservative woman from the Show Me state to show Washington how to get things done. - Sarah Palin

Mr. L: Gov. Palin Leads while Gov. Christie Lords

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is often propounded to be a possible Vice Presidential running mate for Mitt Romney. Ridiculously, the GOP establishment considers Gov. Christie - who has put on egregiously unprofessional displays before the cameras, among other things - as being more qualified for the job than Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Though he does not reference the Leadership Theory by name underpinning Gov. Palin's action, Mr. L references it in a very practical way. He understands that she is a Servant Leader, while Gov. Christie and others like him are statists see themselves as "lording" over their constituents. Mr. L montages, compares and contrasts several videos of both governors interacting with constituents who don't particularly like them or their policies. The difference between Govs. Palin and Christie is stark. Gov. Palin walked into each situation facing hostile constituents, often under adverse conditions, and walked out with those constituents at worst respecting her position, and in some cases seeing things her way. In every case, Gov. Christie simply made a fool of himself, behaving in a manner unbecoming his position, grossly demeaning and diminishing the office he holds. In his synopsis, Mr. L wrote:
Garden State's Gavone Governor Chris Christie caught in his tough guy routine once again with a NJ resident on a Jersey boardwalk over the weekend. Sarah Palin supporters ask, this is who the GOP establishment thought was qualified to be President or VP but not Former Governor Sarah Palin? I compare Christie's style to Palin's when dealing with the public at large. Is there any difference between Christie and big government statist liberals like Obama who prefer to "lord" over rather than "serve" the masses?

On Second Thought: Episode 8 – The Iron Pup Can Wait

Bristol Palin today posted on Bristol's Blog:

My friends may have thought Mom was cool, but they thought Dad was superman.

That’s why it would be hard for any of us to hard to live up to the Palin name, especially before you can read Dr. Seuss books! Tripp, of course, had no idea how much I wanted him to race, and he was having none of it. As disappointed as I was, I realize that sometimes you have to let a kid be a kid.

What does Sarah Palin Think about Condoleezza Rice being Vice President?

Bristol Palin today posted on Bristol's Blog:

Mom, of course, was the first Republican woman to run for Vice President. So, what does she think about the rumor circulating on television, Facebook, and Twitter that Mitt Romney might choose Condoleezza as VP? Of course, this is only speculation… however, I thought some of you might be interested in this recent interview.
