Rep. Quayle (R-AZ) Talks SCOTUS ObamaCare Ruling on SarahNET Radio

This week on The Palin Update with Kevin Scholla: Governor Palin says the Obamacare ruling has fired up the troops! America’s eyes are opened! Today Congressman Ben Quayle joins Kevin to talk about the SCOTUS ruling, immigration, his reelection campaign in Arizona, Vice President Dan Quayle, Sarah Palin, and more! Plus, along with weighing in on Obamacare, Sarah Palin also talks death panels three years later and Alaska's strategic location! Listen NOW!

The Supreme Court ruling "re-kindles the fire for everyone who is opposed to ObamaCare, and I think we're going to have to just re-double our efforts both in the House, then in November so we can keep the House, take the Senate, and get somebody new in the White House, so that we can actually repeal it," Rep. Quayle said.

Mandate as Tax Far-Fetched Even by the Government's Brief

"The decision just didn't make any sense to me. All throughout the whole legislative process, nobody called it a tax. They kept saying that it wasn't a tax, and if you read the dissent, they said that only 21 lines within the brief by the Government dealt with it being a tax. So, even the Government thought it was a far-fetched idea to base Constitutional criteria and Constitutional grounds on this, and yet that is the straw that the majority grasped and it didn't make any sense to me," he said.

Mission: Keep the House, Take Back Senate, Take White House, Completely Repeal ObamaCare

Scholla asked if Rep. Quayle believes there is a silver lining in this cloud - "that down-ticket candidates can run against this?"

"Well, I think this becomes our rallying cry. This becomes the conservative rallying cry that we need to take back the White House and take back the Senate and keep the House, so that we can actually have full repeal of this disastrous law. And, you're going to see. You saw the market tank [June 28], but you're going to see how businesses will continue to sit on their hands, because they don't know if these mandates are going to go through, and be fully implemented in 2014, so we need to have the ability to repeal it in total, and replace it with something that is market-based and makes common sense," Rep. Quayle said.

Obama Administration Targeting AZ

Scholla noted that Arizona has been a hotbed of news with Gov. Brewer, Obama, the immigration issue and Gov. Palin's ties to the state. "Can you feel the spotlight burning stronger in the desert?" he asked.

"Well, the administration has targeted Arizona, and has attacked Arizona on a daily basis, and this latest thing that they had when the Supreme Court upheld the core portion of SB-1070 and instead of trying to work with Arizona, and help us with the illegal immigration and drug smuggling problems that we do have, they decided it was basically better to tell us as Gov. Brewer said, 'to drop dead,' and not actually help us, revoke our 387G program with ICE and others, and saying they're not going to apprehend illegal immigrants if our state and local law enforcement officials actually apprehend them."

Gov. Palin to be a Conservative Voice for Many, Many Years to Come

"Sarah Palin has backed your run for Congress before. What's your take on the Governor? I think a Quayle has a unique perspective on the unfair treatment the Palins have endured," Scholla said. Rep. Qualye is the son of former Vice President Dan Quayle who served in George H.W. Bush's administration.

Laughing, he said, "I think we were the first ones through it."

"Gov. Palin was a great spark in 2008, and she continues to be a strong conservative voice and really energizes our cause and speaks for our cause, and I think what my family went through is very similar to what her family went through. Just she went through it on a much bigger scale, because of the way the media acts, and the way the media treats conservative women. And, so she took the brunt of it, but she came out on the other end looking great, and will continue to be a voice for conservative causes for many, many years to come," Rep. Quayle said.

Rep. Quayle on his father, Former VP Dan Quayle

"Your dad was a huge reason I jumped into politics. You and I are about the same age. I just started high school when he was elected Vice President and I have been a backer ever since. I even ran a group called 'Dan Quayle Diplomats' that we tried to drum up support for a Quayle '96 Presidential campaign. How is that for you, having a former VP as a dad? A heck of a resource when you have a question?" Scholla asked.

"Yes. It's great that you have somebody who's been through this. He's been in the House, he's been in the Senate, he's been Vice President. Having somebody who you know always has your best interests at heart and you can trust implicitly to bounce ideas off of, to talk to him about the political process and also the legislative process as well....he gives great advice, but he lets me come to him, rather than him coming to me. He's always there, but only if I need him," Rep. Quayle said.

Rep. Quayle is running for re-election. "The race is going very well, though in Arizona, we have this crazy re-districting," he said. "This independent commission with hijacked by the Democrats who drew this Democrat dream map in Arizona that violated the Arizona Constitutional criteria for how the map was supposed to be drawn. We've got a tough race, a tough primary, but we're feeling very confident about coming out victorious in August, and winning in November," he said.

Most Pivotal Election in Our History: A Stark Choice

"Now you haven't been shy in your comments about about Obama and a number of issues," Scholla said. "People have come down hard on you. Do you think it's your age, your [surname], or just the fact that you are conservative?" he asked.

"I think it's a little bit of all of it, but anytime you have the last name 'Quayle,' you're going to have the arrows of the media pointed at you, and I've taken some strong stances, and I'm not going to sugar-coat how bad this president has been, because every day, it seems to get worse. Going through, I thought he was actually going to listen to the American people after the 2010 election, but no. He doubled down on liberal policies that have failed us in the past and will fail us in the future. And so, this is the time. I really think this election is the most pivotal election in our history and is going to see the American people make a stark choice where they want the country to go. Do they want to go to this social Democrat route of Europe? Or, if they want to return to the Constitution, return to our founding principles that made us strong, where it is about our individual liberties; it's about our families; it's about our churches, our synagogues, our communities; rather than a powerful federal government that is trying to dictate what we do with our everyday lives."

SCOTUS Ruling Will Wipe Away Voter Apathy

Scholla asked how to get our message out to the apathetic and those who are unaware of the ramifications of ObamaCare and the Supreme Court ruling on it.

"You know, this decision, I know the liberals might be happy about it, but I think their glee is going to be short-lived, because I think this just lit a fire under the vast majority of the American people, because the popularity of ObamaCare is dismal. People still don't like and they're going to continue to not like it. I think there was a lot of confidence that it was going to get struck down by the Supreme Court, and now that the Supreme Court has voted to uphold it via very contorted logic, I think this is really going to get that apathy and wipe it away, and bring people back out. We're going to have TEA Party rallies; we're going to have people at town halls just irate over this ruling, and knowing that the only way we can repeal ObamaCare is via the legislative process, and that means we have to get the Senate, we have to keep the House, and we have to take back the White House," Rep. Quayle said.

Rep. Quayle's website is: http://www.quayleforcongress.com. His primary is August 28.

On Second Thought: Episode 4

Bristol Palin today posted on Bristol's Blog:

Fatherhood.

Just the word causes a little pang in my heart.

When I was skating with Tripp at the hockey rink in Episode 4, I said, “All men are dogs.” On second thought, I shouldn’t have said that. It’s not true in life generally and it’s not even true in my life specifically. I have my dad, who’s one of the best people on the planet. He can win the Iron Dog, braid Piper’s hair, catch salmon, teach me a life lesson, and make sure our truck engines don’t freeze overnight in the winter months. Then, there’s Track, my brother who’s tormented his little sisters my entire life… and is still tormenting me as I wait for him to return from Afghanistan! Of course, I also have my grandfathers who have held together our family with their character and strength.

Truth Revealed: The SCOTUS Decision

Thank You SCOTUS...

Governor Palin Today Posted on Facebook:
Thank you, SCOTUS. This Obamacare ruling fires up the troops as America’s eyes are opened! Thank God. This proves to be such an unsettling time in America as we undergo the fundamental transformation that Barack Obama promised he would do to us if elected. Obamacare was dealt in deception and confusion by flooding the public with an overwhelming amount of conflicting “rationale” via thousands of pages of unread legislative detail, which is the radical left’s M.O. Obama promised the American people this wasn’t a tax and that he’d never raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000. We now see that this is the largest tax increase in history. It will slam every business owner and every one of the 50% of Americans who currently pay their taxes. The other 50% are being deceived if they think they’re going to get a free ride – because Medicaid is broke. Recipients of Obama’s “free health care” will have fewer choices and less accessibility. Trust me – this much more expensive health care WILL be rationed; to claim otherwise defies all economic and common sense. We will not retreat on this. A newly elected legislative branch is key to defending our Republic and fundamentally restoring all that is good in America. SCOTUS now rules this is a tax? Well, Congress has the ability to create taxes – and also has the ability to rescind them. Upon their return from the July recess, Congress should act immediately to repeal this terrible new tax on the American people, and indeed they must repeal all of Obamacare. This is the most brazen and sweeping new tax and government overreach imposed on us. We the People did not ask for this tax, we do not want this tax, and we can’t afford this tax. This is not an answer to America’s health care challenges. It’s time, again, for patriotic Americans to rise up to protest this obvious infringement on our economic and personal freedom. November is just around the corner. Today, the Supreme Court issued their ruling on Obamacare. In November, We the People will issue ours. - Sarah Palin

On Second Thought: Episode 3

Bristol Palin today posted on Bristol's Blog:

“I’ve failed as a mother,” I said to Willow in front of Tripp. Why did I say that? Because as much as I try, I’m only one person trying to create a family without a father. I’ve brought a son into the world who won’t know his dad.

This is why we really should trust God to know what’s best for our lives. In high school, I knew I shouldn’t have been with Levi. Had I followed God’s laws about having sex within the context of marriage-only, I would’ve prevented a great deal of heartache and pain.

I’ve said this before, but it’s worth saying again: Tripp was not the mistake. Tripp is a gift from God. But there’s no denying it: I’ve put him in a less than ideal family situation....

Sarah Palin Radio Interviews Conservatives for Congress in FL-24, AZ-5

Sarah Palin Radio

"[Matt Salmon] understands Congress because he used to be a Member of Congress. He is, in fact, one of the original 'boat rockers' elected to Congress in 1994. Unlike most politicians, he honored his term limits pledge and left Congress in 2000 but not before taking on both the House Republican leadership and Bill Clinton on out-of-control spending. In fact, [Salmon] was named 'Watch Dog of the Treasury' six years in a row while in Congress," LaDonna Hale Curzon, host and Executive Producer, Sarah Palin Radio wrote in her synopsis of the interview with the candidate who speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Salmon has denounced the Obama administration's failed policy on immigration. He said the only Supreme Court Justice who got the immigration ruling right was Scalia who held that the states are sovereign entities. Salmon served three terms in the House until 2000. He was the Republican nominee for governor of Arizona and lost to Janet Napolitano in the closest election in Arizona's history. Pat Toomey, Tom Coburn, the Club for Growth, and Citizens United, among others have endorsed Salmon. All the major conservative and Tea Party groups have endorsed him. Salmon said Obama does not understand or respect states rights, separation of powers, or the Tenth Amendment.

He said if the Republicans don't hold Eric Holder in Contempt of Congress, "they are sissies." He said "Fast and Furious" "is going to make Watergate look like the petty larceny that it was."

He said Obama has to be held accountable and challenged at every turn.

Salmon supports balanced budget proposals with five-year goals. He said we don't have the luxury of time to support the longer-term budgets.

He thanked Sarah Palin Radio's listeners in Mandarin Chinese. His language skills picked up as a Mormon missionary helped him get a Chinese political prisoner released. Salmon had been sent to China by former President Clinton to repair our relationship after we accidentally bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade during the Kosovo War. Salmon also "proudly voted to impeach Clinton, but he had done far less [wrong] than what Obama has done." The prisoner came to Pennsylvania and became a United States citizen.

"With support from Gov. Sarah Palin, Rep. Adams defeated a Democrat incumbent by 20 points in 2010, despite being outspent by two to one," Curzon said in leading her synopsis of her interview with the candidate. "Now, Rep. Adams must run against a fellow Republican incumbent in a redrawn district. The differences between the two couldn't be more [stark]. Rep. Adams is the upstart, Tea Party freshman while her opponent is the Republican old guard [who] has spent 20 years in Congress."

Adams has served in the US Air Force and was also a deputy sheriff for 17 years. She said constituents could choose between an establishment Republican bent on continuing power-broking, behind-the-scenes deals, and earmarks, or a conservative candidate who is going to clean things up and listen to the people. She has held 24 in-person town halls in her district. "Unless you're there talking with your constituents, you have no idea what's on their mind," she said. She has asked her colleagues to make the moratorium on earmarks a permanent ban. The moratorium expires when the next Congress sits. She said earmarks only build our debt and deficit and allow spending on poorly thought-out projects to be hidden.

Adams' opponent had offered to "swap districts" with her stating that she could easily win in the swapped district. Though she could have, Adams said she was not running merely to get elected but running for "the right reasons," which are: "I care what is happening to this country. I care about what these policies that are being put in place by this administration are doing to the country.

Adams believes the Tea Party success of 2010 will continue through this election cycle. National Right to Life, Susan B. Anthony List (owners and operators of Team Sarah), and David Barton, among others have endorsed her campaign. "I look at these endorsements as special, because they're from real people, not just a bunch of elected officials," she said.

Adams said the critical issue in her district is ObamaCare, "which is strangling our small businesses," and over-regulation. Insurance rates have gone up and businesses are reluctant to hire, she said. "Americans want to work," Adams said. It was through work, that she rebuilt her life after leaving her husband who was a violent alcoholic.

She said the contradiction of Attorney General Holder claiming Obama was not involved with "Fast and Furious," while Obama exerted executive privilege raises serious questions.

She said Obama's "Catch and Release" immigration policies steps outside the legal bounds of the Executive Branch. It is Congress' job to set immigration policies. She considers his policy "backdoor amnesty," said he side-stepped Congress and possibly added up to one million people to the unemployment line by so doing.

She said Marco Rubio, who presumptive nominee Mitt Romney is vetting would do well as a Vice President. Adams had served with Rubio in the Florida House of Representatives, knows him well and considers him a friend.

SarahNET Radio Interviews Steel-Spined Daria Novak for CT-2

This week on The Palin Update with Kevin Scholla: A woman fighting for us in Connecticut! Conservative candidate Daria Novak is here to talk about her run for Congress! Plus Bristol Palin and Todd Palin make a splash on reality TV, Ted Cruz mentions Sarah Palin during the Texas Senate debate, and Governor Palin's Father's Day wishes! Plus, Jerry Sandusky is convicted. We look back at Palin's take on the Penn State predator. SarahNET Radio ON DEMAND!

Novak said Connecticut is one of three states that have both a convention and a primary system, and she is currently in the primary. In 2010, she won the state convention, but lost the primaries by 20 votes per town, so she is making another run. "As you know, sometimes conservatives have to run again. I believe former President Reagan did that and he did just fine," she said.

In 2010, the Republican Party endorsed Novak, but they have not endorsed her for 2012. Scholla said that not being endorsed by the GOP carries the downside of no access to GOP monies, but the most "Palinesque" candidates tend to run outside the party establishment, and thus do not have the endorsement.

Strong Conservative by Irreversible Core Values - Not a Political Position

"Well, you hit the nail right on the head. Here in Connecticut, we have party regulars [who] are trying to find 'Party Lite' and I'm not 'Republican Lite.' I'm a strong conservative and I've always have been. It's not a political position. If I'm willing to bend and become liberal, sure I'd have their support, but the good thing is I have the support of the people of my district, and we're seeing that in polls I'm doing extremely well.

As a matter of fact, in 2010 our gubernatorial candidate in this Congressional District won the vote....we have the votes here. And, now I'm seeing the people coming out of the woodwork. They're just tired of what's going on, and they're telling me, 'enough is enough. We don't care if you're the endorsed candidate or whether you're 'primarying.' We're supporting you.' That's what I need: the passion of the people."

The Frederick Douglass Foundation is helping her campaign and, New Generation PAC has endorsed her. Novak is filling out forms with other conservative organizations to seek their endorsements.

A Strong Palin Supporter

Novak has been a Team Sarah member since early 2009 and has a Connecticut State group within Team Sarah. "We haven't stopped. We believe in a conservative message here in Connecticut. We're traditional New England, but the difference is: we are silent no more." Sholla noted that Team Sarah always speaks highly of Novak from the Tweets and comments. "She and I agree on ideas. I mean one day my goal is to meet her. I'd love to interview her on the radio show that I have," Novak said.

Novak said jobs and over-regulation of business are the over-arching issues in Connecticut.

"We're finally coming awake and realizing that big government and over-regulation are putting a strangle-hold on the nation. The only way to do something about it is to stand up, come out, vote, volunteer, donate, or run for office. And, we're seeing a resurgence of conservative candidates coming out in Connecticut, which is really good I think for the party, because now we can offer a different solution than what the Democrats have been offering us....which is more of the same and we're rejecting it," she said.

Scholla noted that electoral results for conservative Tea Party candidates have been mixed. Jamie Radke, Virginia and Greg Sowards, New Mexico lost their races. Others such as Anna Little in New Jersey, Deb Fischer in Nebraska, and "countless others" have won their primaries. Scholla asked Novak what the differences were between the successful and the failed candidates and if simply getting out and talking to voters was a factor.

"I think one of the differences, at least here in Eastern Connecticut is that we have a nuclear sub base in Groton, and the national defense industry here. In addition, as you move inland you have traditional industry and farming. It's regular America. And what happens is, I have 64 towns in my district. I go out and walk with the people in my district. I go and talk to them. I sit in their living rooms. They're tired of being fed lines and the one thing everybody always tells me is, 'it is refreshing to hear you because you tell the truth.' And, I'm not afraid to speak out. One radio host told me, 'that within 30 seconds he knew what I was all about, because I would actually give him an answer.' I think that's what people in America are looking for today. Someone who is not afraid, not worried about whether they get elected but worried about what effects [the change they make] when they get in office."

Novak is a fiscal conservative, pro-life, and pro-Constitution. "I read those three things on your Twitter page," Scholla said, "and I say, 'this is somebody we want to showcase and somebody we want to talk to.'" Novak has attended rallies for religious freedom, and pro-life summits. She stated again that this is "not a political position," but part of who she is. Novak does not even write political speeches. She just speaks. "I tell my two teenagers, 'if you don't lie, you don't have to worry about remembering the lie,'" she said. "I just tell the truth. I say the same thing in public and on the radio as I do at home and in private." Her campaign manager presented Novak with red, white and blue boxing gloves for her 55th birthday. "There's not a war on women. We're women at war to save this country," she said.

"These are the types of people we need to send to Washington, not these lifetime politicians who go there to use the perks for [themselves]," Scholla said.

Her website is http://novakforcongress.com/. Her primary is on August 14. She is seeking to raise money for ad purchases. Novak has not been endorsed by Gov. Palin, however, she is to be listed on the AGU Primary Candidates List within the next 24 hours.

Okay, so by now you’ve seen the footage of my argument with the guy in the bar. And by now you know I’m being sued over it. So I probably shouldn’t write much about this encounter right now as my lawyers work on my defense.

I will say this, however. As soon as that awful confrontation was over, I called my friend and my mom. I’m blessed to have these people in my life. I’m fully aware that there are many people in this world who face troubles without a loving support system. So thanks, guys.

“Death Panel” Three Years Later

Governor Palin today posted on Facebook:

As we wait for the impending Supreme Court decision on Obamacare, I reiterate what I wrote in my first post on this topic nearly three years ago. I stand by everything I wrote in that warning to my fellow Americans, because what was true then is true now, and it will remain true as we hear what the Supreme Court has to say.

It was a pretty long post, but a lot of people seem to have only read two words of it: “death panel.” Though I was called a liar for calling it like it is, many of these accusers finally saw that Obamacare did in fact create a panel of faceless bureaucrats who have the power to make life and death decisions about health care funding. It’s called the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), and its purpose all along has been to “keep costs down” by actually denying care via price controls and typically inefficient bureaucracy. This subjective rationing of care is what I was writing about in that first post:

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion.

Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors.

We must step up and engage in this most crucial debate. Nationalizing our health care system is a point of no return for government interference in the lives of its citizens. If we go down this path, there will be no turning back. Ronald Reagan once wrote, “Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.” Let’s stop and think and make our voices heard before it’s too late.

If the Supreme Court doesn’t strike down Obamacare entirely, then Congress must act to repeal IPAB and Obamacare before it is indeed “too late.” All of Obamacare must go one way or another.

Bethenny Talks Woman-to-Woman with Gov Palin

Bethenny Frankel, a self-described "health foodie" and Fox host met former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin at the Four Seasons Hotel in West Lake Village, California last week and treated her to some Skinnygirl Cocktails. Frankel, who specializes in healthy lifestyles, parenting, and giving back to the community, is the founder of the Skinnygirl brand. Todd Palin was being taped for Stars Earn Stripes last week, which could be why Gov. Palin was in California. According to US Magazine Weekly, Frankel was "taping a segment for 102.7's KIIS FM's On Air with Ryan Seacrest." Six people had won the station's contest to meet Frankel.

Frankel did not want to let this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity slip. "Sometimes you have to intervene in your own life. You have to say, 'I'm stopping down. I'm going to be 45 minutes late to see the baby," she said in her video.

She approached Gov. Palin who was poolside. The former Alaska Governor knew who Frankel was, and the two discussed their marriages, motherhood and "things women talk about" for over a half hour. Frankel described the experience as "surreal" in her video. She could not believe it was really happening. "They looked like old girlfriends catching up, relaxing and hanging out," a witness told US Magazine Weekly.

Mr. L: Why Either Romney or Obama 2012 Wins Could Lead to Palin 2016

New York-based Mr. L's Tavern known for hard-hitting, blunt political analysis yesterday released a video delineating how a 2012 win by either Obama or Romney could lead to a Palin 2016 candidacy. "Voters may deliver Romney a decisive victory, not because they love Romney, but simply because they fear another four years of Obama. Hope & Change became Smear & Fear in four short years. Voters are tired of the Obama administration's lawlessness, arrogance, lies and want this long four year national nightmare of Obama to be OVER. But what are we getting with Romney? Many believe that while Romney may slow the bleed of Obama, the Romney administration may fall short of saving America," Mr. L said.

Gov. Palin has repeatedly advanced the position of "Anybody but Obama," and by the logic of that argument, Romney is part of "anybody." Indeed, Gov. Palin has also repeatedly said she would support him if he became the nominee and on June 19 as reported by Josh Painter, "left no doubt that she’s supporting Romney in the general election, and she said that 'if that vote were held today,' she will vote for him 'in a heartbeat' over Obama."

Mr. L pointed out that it is only the "anybody but Obama" sentiment that can propel Romney to victory. Romney would not win under ordinary circumstances, Mr. L said. If - and the operative word is "if" - Romney governs left of center or proves to be ineffective, he would be vulnerable to a Palin challenge in 2016. Mr. L theorized that a Romney win in 2012 would be advantageous to a Palin 2016 run, because the GOP field would be less crowded. Conversely, an Obama win would result in a more crowded GOP field. Though enemy pundits would no doubt belittle Gov. Palin for daring to challenge the incumbent, she would be in a strong position to run, Mr. L asserted. If Obama wins, Gov. Palin would also be in a very strong person to win a 2016 election, but would face a much more crowded, but weak GOP field. Obama would be a lame duck and the Democratic field would be very weak. Mr. L asserted that Hillary Clinton is not going to run in 2016, since she is now considered damaged goods by her association with Obama's administration. Further, Mr. L said Clinton did a poor job as Secretary of State, aiding Syria's Assad who is massacring innocent civilians.

Mr. L is no Romney supporter. To the contrary, he devoted a video to explaining why he won't "Rah Rah" the former Massachusetts governor, and why he might not even vote for him. In yet another video, he details a shouting match he had on the phone with a Romney fund-raiser.

But Mr. L also has a few choice words for a small cadre of Palinistas who assert that they "know Gov. Palin is running and will be the nominee in Tampa" or alternatively "start a third party run." Disagree with them and you're accused of supporting Romney and being a traitor to Gov. Palin, among other things. Toxic debates relating to a Palin 2012 candidacy launched in Tampa rage on some Palin support pages and comment boards.

In that audio broadcast, Mr. L mercilessly condemned the people who engage in this irrational behavior, calling out two in particular who falsely accused him and another colleague - Isabel Matos - of "banning all mention of Sarah Palin" on their Facebook pages. Toward that broadcast's conclusion, Mr. L explains that when we support Gov. Palin by our volunteerism or donations, we should not expect a specific result in return. We support her because we believe in her. He explains how she campaigned in Alaska, and her discomfort with pursuing large donors, because they do expect a payback in some form.

Though it seems strange to discuss what could happen in 2016 with 2012 still in a primary season, what happens now does influence the future. In any case, as Palinistas we have a responsibility to ensure that we do not hold our "coulds" out to be statements of fact, and that we operate from a basis of reality.
