Governor Palin last night said in an interview with Eric Bolling on Fox Business that Obama should move toward the center and cut deficit spending. She cited examples of governors, including herself who had vetoed such spending with the stimulus and whose vetoes were overridden by fellow Republicans. At the state level, she cited how her predecessor changed the state pension from a defined benefit package for new enrollees, and how the unions protested and led a recall effort. On Obama's statement that he is the same person he was when he took office and that he had no intention of moving away from his leftist ideology, Gov. Palin said that this was "the one time he should not have let a good crisis go to waste."
