Bristol Palin will be heading home to Alaska to spend time with her
family and reload, after finishing Dancing with the Stars in third
place, according to People Magazine.
Bristol, however, will not be fading into obscurity. "The show 'gave me
a lot more confidence...there's a lot of things I want to accomplish,'"
she said.
As we wrote in our coverage of the DWTS final episode,
"[h]aving been a finalist on DWTS will open new doors for
her on new stages, including possible commercials and product
endorsements. Though Bristol said she does not intend to become a
professional dancer, her making the finals could earn her a subsequent
season on DWTS. Whether Bristol realizes it or not, DWTS will change her
life in ways yet to be seen."
