Today is Election
Day, and the eyes of the nation have been on three important races in
particular: the race in the NY 23rd Congressional District, the
gubernatorial race in New Jersey, and the gubernatorial race in
Virginia.
Yesterday, via
Facebook,
Sarah Palin implored: "Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!" We already know the
impact Palin has had on that race. After her endorsement of Doug
Hoffman, support for him poured in, and Dede Scozzafava stepped aside.
Also
yesterday, in support of Bob McDonnell in Virginia--although
independent of his campaign--Governor Palin made robocalls. Listen to
the call below, in which she says:
Virginia, hello,
this is Sarah Palin calling to urge you to go to the polls Tuesday and
vote to share our principles. The eyes of America will be on Virigina
and make no mistake about it, every vote counts. So don't take anything
for granted, vote your values on Tuesday, and urge your friends and
family to vote, too. Thank you.

Finally, concerning New Jersey, in her endorsement of Chris Christie, Palin
predicts;
Watch
New Jersey's economy come alive under new leadership that will put
government back on the side of the people! Chris Christie promises this
new leadership.
While our eyes are on these three
races, which have huge importance to our nation, do not fail to see the
importance of your local races. Votes for highway superintendent and
city councilman may not receive the same publicity as the races for
Congress and governor, but they are still important. So exercise your
right today.
